Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar recently invested $2 million in JetSynthesys, a global digital entertainment and technology company specializing in gaming, digital entertainment, and interest-based social community platforms. This investment deepens Tendulkar’s existing partnership with JetSynthesys, as they jointly operate a digital cricket destination called 100MB, along with games such as Sachin Saga Cricket Champions and Sachin Saga VR.
Tendulkar now joins the ranks of current JetSynthesys shareholders, including Adar Poonawalla, Kris Gopalakrishnan, and the family offices of the promoters of Thermax, Triveni Group, Yohan Poonawalla Group, and DSP Group. Reflecting on his long association with JetSynthesys, Tendulkar highlighted the success of their collaborative projects, including Sachin Saga Cricket Champions, a highly popular game with over 20 million downloads, and 100MB, a unique digital platform catering to cricket enthusiasts worldwide.
Expressing his thoughts on the investment, Tendulkar shared, “When this association began, the aim was to provide an authentic gaming experience for cricket lovers across the globe; now I am briefed that the team is looking to diversify that purview to include more cross-category digital products and platforms.”
Rajan Navani, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of JetSynthesys, emphasized the strengthening bond between Tendulkar and the company since their collaboration in 2016. He highlighted the creation of interactive experiences like Sachin Saga Cricket Champions and Sachin Saga VR, giving fans the chance to engage with the cricket icon directly. Navani expressed excitement about Tendulkar’s increased involvement, stating, “With this investment, we are excited to see Sachin become an even more crucial member of the JetSynthesys family.”
